Think about Hawaii for a second. Close your eyes and picture “iconic Hawaii”. I’m guessing you’re imagining a golden sunset, the palm trees silhouettes grace the sandy beach. The sun’s glare reflects off the fire-lit water as it lays it’s head to rest for the evening. Yes, Hawaii sunsets are hard to beat. But Hawaii sunrises will forever hold a special place in my heart. A sunrise sky is far different than that of it’s night-time counterpart. A bright and hope-filled glow fills the sky as the sun comes out to play for another day.
Sunrises and Smiles
Such was the case when I captured this fun family’s updated portrait session. Soft hues of yellow and blue surrounded us as we spent the morning splashing in the water and running on the beach. I love that each family member’s unique personality was displayed, each one perfectly complimenting it’s four counterparts. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such fun families! Especially on this breathtaking island I get to call home.
Getting to share the sunrise with this stunning family as their Family Portrait Photographer Oahu was such an incredible experience.
