Hawaiian Bliss | Families Who Play Together Enjoy Life Together

Kids have a way of melting our hearts and making the busyness of our adult lives fade into the background. When we watch them play, we can’t help but join in on the fun, and our childhoods no longer feel so far away. I think all of us have a little bit kid still left in us, and it’s always fun to revisit our playful side. Kids give us the freedom to do so. We would look incredibly silly galloping like a horse out on the beach by ourselves, but when we’re surrounded by little ones doing the same, no one bats an eye!

This loving family flew to the aloha state from California for a much-needed, sun-filled vacation. While they were here, they wanted to update their family photos with some candid images of the four of them playing on the beach together. I had a blast during my time with them! They were so in the moment, and Mom and Dad were genuinely present with their little ones for the entire session. All they wanted to do was play, play, play!!  And who wouldn’t when you have the whole beach spread out before you. The waves energetically rolled in, and the moment couldn’t be more perfect.

We started the session during when the sun was high in the sky. Their precious little girl and handsome son donned their swimsuits and played on the shore to their hearts content. They had huge smiles on their faces the whole time, and their parents relished in this blissful moment – after all, their kids won’t be this little forever. What a joy it must be to watch them grow.

After the fun in the sun, their little girl put on a pretty floral sundress, and their little boy wore a matching light blue button down and shorts. They looked so cute walking together hand-in-hand! The sun began to fade into the horizon, leaving behind a gloriously pink and orange sunset for us to enjoy.
