Ko Olina Wedding Photographer

Four tranquil beach coves make up the Ko Olina Lagoons. Because the lagoons were designed on the sunny leeward side away from crowded Waikiki, the Ko Olina Oahu Resort is a great location for couples who are looking for a more intimate, romantic wedding venue with outstanding views and, of course, laid-back beachy vibes.

With their wedding right around the corner, this couple wanted romantic sunset portraits to commemorate this special time in their lives. We planned on catching a gorgeous sunset at Ko Olina’s Secret Beach, and it definitely did not disappoint! The atmosphere was perfect for the images they were wanting, and the beach wasn’t too crowded, so it was easier for them to relax and focus on each other.

We started the session off just before sunset as the warm glow was sparkling across the cool lagoon. I had a lovely time documenting their evening together as they walked hand-in-hand down the beach. Before we knew it, the sun was already slowly melting into the horizon.

She wore a beautiful soft pink dress that lightly flowed with the breeze. Since it was a light material, I love how the sun shined through it for an even more romantic touch. These two are so sweet, and it was so easy to capture their pre-wedding bliss! No jitters here – they had a great time relishing in the moment, and I had a wonderful photographing them.

If their wedding day is anything like this sweet sunset session, I know it will be absolutely magical. It’s hard for it to be anything but amazing when you’re on the island with the one you love.
