One of the most important things in life is family. Having people who love, support, and encourage you endlessly is priceless. Whether your family is small, large, or somewhere in between the love shared is irreplaceable.  It is so amazing that as a Natural Light Oahu Photographer, I get to take part in documenting that love for a profession.

I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful family vacationing in Hawaii. They were there celebrating the homecoming of their newest member; a three year old little boy from Haiti.  This session took place on a beautiful beach on the famous North Shore of Oahu.

Hawaii is one of this family’s favorite places to vacation.  What better place than to relax and enjoy their latest addition? Adoption is a beautiful way to add love to a family, and this family was a prime example! Their little guy had so much personality, and was full of smiles. You can tell he is adored by his parents and will be well protected by his four older sisters and they have already solidified that special bond among siblings.

This sweet family was an extraordinary bunch.  The connection and love they shared was palpable in the images that we created together. This sweet smiley little boy fits right in with his sweet new family and I am so happy they found each other. Whether your family is small and immediate, large and extended, or came about through marriage, friendship, or adoption, the love shared is the same. It’s the best thing in the entire world, and totally worth celebrating.
