This family from Canada is so very special to me. I’ve had the opportunity to photograph them three years in a row now on their annual trips to Hawaii. Over this time we have developed not only a working relationship but a genuine friendship. Each one of these four has a unique, loving aura that is so easily captured. Working with my sweet friends and their two daughters is always a huge honor and wonderful opportunity.
Benefits of Long-Term Family Photography
Being a long-term family photographer is such an amazing experience. Getting to know this family and watching them grow is so much fun. When I first met them, their little ones were teeny tiny. Now look at them! I love seeing how much the girls grow, change, and even stay the same in some ways from year to year. I also love seeing the bond between mom, dad, and their girls. Love is a constant in this family, never getting weaker, only stronger.
One thing I really look up to when it comes to these four is their undying positivity. During the session, we were able to capture some beautiful sunrise photos. A refreshing shower sprinkled in. Then the skies cleared and the girls were able to go for a swim. They did not let the change in weather dampen their spirits. Instead, they danced on the beach with the umbrella. There is nothing sweeter than a family that has the ability to soak up every moment. I am so glad that I was able to be a part of such a beautiful day with this sweet family.
