This family recently moved to Oahu and love it so much.  It was so fun to be able to photograph a family that not only lives locally but is new here. We were able to chat about where all they had visited so far.  I was able to share some of my favorites and share new places for them to explore. It’s a tiny island, but there is just so much to do.  We reveled in what a blessing it is to raise a family in Hawaii.

They wanted to have the location of their first family portrait session at their favorite North Shore beach. This special spot holds a dear place in their hearts for many reasons.  This was one of the first beaches they were introduced to when they moved to Oahu.  They instantly fell in love with it, and would frequent this spot as a couple. Soon after baby was born, this was the first beach they introduced him to on island and is now their go-to spot as a family.  Coincidentally, it is also my favorite North Shore location for photo shoots as well.  It is not hard to see why. Everything about this location is extraordinarily beautiful.  Of course their fur baby was a part of their family photo session as well.  I always love it when the whole family is involved.  So stunning location, stunning lighting, stunning family, we were ready to go!

Their little guy is such a happy camper. Whether he was being held or “walking” in the water, he was all smiles and giggles. It was so fun watching Mom and Dad dote on him. They loved talking with him and explaining to him all that was around them. Dad loved taking him to the water and dipping his feet in.  Mom gave him so many loving hugs and kisses. Their adorable pup was right at home as well, splashing in the water, barking at the incoming waves and leading our session. This little growing family was such a joy to photograph. Welcome to Hawaii!
