This lovely family from Japan were treasures to work with on this stunning Hawaiian day. The loving bond shared between Mom, dad, and their two daughters was palpable, and photographing them was a delight. We started our afternoon at the grand banyans at Kapiolani Park. These trees are such a pretty sight, and definitely a must-see for any visitors that may not be from the area. As the sun began to dip, we crossed the park to a little beach where we shared a sunset together.
Mom and Dad met years ago when they lived in Hawaii. Now they have returned for a visit with their two daughters. They wanted images to celebrate the oldest daughter turning two as well as their newborn daughter. It is touching to see these two sisters together. Although the little one slept most of the time, she is surrounded by the love of her parents and older sister. Big sis was such a wonderful little soul, and I enjoyed every minute getting to know her. Not only is she as cute as can be with her big brown eyes, but she is also inquisitive, bright and independent. She was quite the explorer, and loved playing outside and spending time with her family.
