This Texan couple was absolutely adorable. Their Hawaiian vacation was all about the two of them, as they left the kiddos back home. This was a trip designed to focus on each other. They were truly enjoying the one on one time in beautiful Kailua. As you can clearly see, who could blame them?
The Beauty of the Shave Ice Skies
They were taken aback by the ‘shave ice skies’. A phrase coined by this sweet new friend of mine. She is a talented artist and designer, and nailed the description of the way the pastel colors paint the skies of the Hawaii’s beaches at sunrise.
Living in one of the most beautiful places on earth is a gift in-and-of itself. Capturing families as they experience it, is an incredible blessing. These two were no different. We were able to document some breathtaking images that portrayed their love for one another and the magnificence of the location they were visiting.
I love the image of their hands touching, showing their rings as the sun shone brightly. Endlessly casting gorgeous shades of orange across the sea and sky. It was so much fun having another artsy-eye at the session. Getting to collaborate and share ideas is always a treat. We saw another opportunity for a unique image as the reflection of her husband flashed in her sunglasses as she soaked up the sun on the beach. What a delightful morning!
