This absolutely gorgeous couple is here in Oahu on vacation from the Bay Area. What a literally picture perfect place for a photo shoot! These two lovebirds are expecting their first child, and are transitioning into a new and exciting season in their lives. We met up on a breathtaking morning to capture their Oahu Sunrise Maternity Session at Lanikai Beach. To say this location is stunning is a vast understatement. Even after all these years, this beautiful island can still take my breath away. From the mountains, the beautiful clear sky, the sparkling water, to the soft white sand, it truly is paradise.
Salty Kisses and Sandy Toes
First and foremost, the love these two have for each other just shines through in this collection. Mama-to-be donned a gorgeous floral crown or haku lei as we refer to them in the islands. The vivid colors of the flowers really popped, paired with her soft, flowing dress. Dad’s attire was the perfect compliment with his crisp white shirt, sleeves up, and the both of them barefoot in the beautiful white sand. The resulting effect is so laid back and casual, yet elegant. These two look like they stepped straight out of a Hollywood love story!
