Sometimes in life you meet people that you instantly click with. No awkward phase, no uncomfortable silences, just pure friendship. These people are just that. This amazing family, whom I have known for years now, have become like old friends. It is always a reunion when we see each other again. When they reached out to me recently, there was not a hesitation in my mind! I was so excited to be able to capture their loving bond once again in the beautiful state of Hawaii.
Sweet Anticipation of their Second Son
This sweet, sweet family is from Japan, and I have had the pleasure of photographing them several times before, whenever they are in Oahu for vacation. Let’s just say, they love Hawaii, and can you blame them?! Their precious little boy was just 6 months old the first time we did a session together. Now he’s a fun little toddler with a baby brother on the way. It is seriously so fun to see and document these little ones as they grow and as the family unit expands.
I was so thrilled to capture this family’s love for Hawaii, each other, and the little one in mama’s belly. We were so happy to be accompanied by a breath-taking sunset on beautiful Lanikai beach. It was so wonderful seeing these sweet familiar faces full of love and peace.

All in all, being a Hawaii photographer has been such a blessing in my life. Furthermore, I am so thankful for old friends, and the continued support from all of the amazing people that make my job possible. Congratulations to this wonderful family on their new addition that will be joining them shortly!
