Happy New Year, Friends! I am writing from beautiful Kaua’i, where we escaped for a bit of R&R. Heading back to Oahu today, feeling rejuvenated and excited to kick off 2015.
One of my resolutions this year is to stay on top of these blog posts! Between shooting, editing and life with 3 littles, the blog tends to be neglected, but I am setting my intentions to change this. These blog posts are one of my favorite bits of the photography process. Creating a visual diary of the remarkable individuals that I am given the opportunity to capture brings me great satisfaction.
So let’s start with this sweet family. I love photographing families on vacation because there is an inherent joy that goes along with being in “vacation mode” and this feeling translates so well on camera. These sisters were so fun and their personalities shine through in the images! But perhaps what really left an impression on me is the love this family shares between each other; so natural and unguarded. They made my job easy! Wishing you all a magical 2015….old friends, new friends and friends I have yet to meet. xx
